This is returning intern Anastasia Freyermuth wanting to give a big hello to our fellow readers that have continued to be interested in the happenings at UA's WRC. I am excited about starting my second semester with my fellow peers. Some have become like old friends and others are fresh faces that bring a vibrant fresh atmosphere to the space.
Being a new co-chair for WRC's film series I would like to give a shout out to our film schedule. Most of the cool flicks we will be screening are on the first and third Wednesday from January to April. Look on our website or stop by to find dates and learn about the several organizations that are collaborating with the WRC.
But it's not just Film Series we have going on at the WRC. Our SECS Committee, Sex Ed College Style, is getting revitalized for this upcoming semester. If you live or commute to UA campus be sure to look for an event near you in the coming weeks!
Think there's still not enough events to get your feminist juices pumping?! Well low and behold, March is "Women's Herstory Month" and to show our appreciation for every woman's herstory we will be showcasing events all month! Keep an eye out for our flyers and website for more information.
